I'm sure you can imagine......

Recently went to Niagara Falls Ontario and Quebec City on Labor Day weekend. Stayed at a very nice KOA in Niagara Falls. My sister in law and our oldest daughter live in Charlotte and joined us....driving up separately in a Class B RV. We have 2 pull thru sites reserved side by side right up front in the CG.
Well they arrive early and check in. As usual my sister in law pulls into the second site.....but is in facing the opposite direction so her camper doors face ours. Usually works out just fine. Well there were people looking and watching what they thought were two silly or newbie women setting up camp backwards. They were struggling getting the electric under the rv to the pedestel. Then the water. Then the sewer. You can just imagine..there were several senior campers outside just chilling in their chairs watching all of this. Not a word was said. My daughter got a big kick out of it thinking the entire time "I know something you dont know." When we arrived, pulled in next to them and setup a shared common area between us Im sure it all became obvious what was going on but until then you can just imagine the number of people that were just itching to say something to them! We got a good belly laugh from it every time we thought about it.

It's always a problem to decide whether to say something or not.

I have seen many people pull into back in sites. I guess easier to back out than back in?

Nothing like an audience when you pull into a site. When I first got this camper, first 5th wheel, I was self-conscious about the stares, wondering if I forgot to do something and trying to concentrate on the task at hand. I'm a lot more comfortable now. Let'em watch if that's how they get their kicks. On the flip-side, I mind my own business and keep my mouth shut. I do like to check out the rigs coming in though.

I like to watch how people set up and pack up. Chances are I might pick up a tip or two that I hadn't thought of. I have learned to just observe unless asked to help.

I don't mind an audience but let me get set up before you want me to get chatty with you.

I would have been thinking "Crazy kids" but would have figured there was some logical explanation. I would have guessed better view out window X.

I wonder if people think anything when I break out my measuring stick and wander around the rig. It works better than the old twisted stick that would even confuse me.

We've always been amazed at how many people are willing to give advice on how to park and set up.
