Winter Black Widows (eeeewww)

We have been stepping on spiders since we got here and I was wondering where they came from. This morning I saw a shiny black one run under the platform that Lindy built to keep the mud out of the rig. I flipped it over and this is what I found. Along with about 30 tiny babies. A liberal coating of ant and roach spray dispatched them and after taking the pictures I add a "bio-impacter" (shoe) to the mix. So I advise that if you have decks or flat boards laying around and you are in the south that you check under them occasionally... Dave

We have them here too, when it gets warmer. They love wood, being under things, and they especially like black, like the belly under the rig.

Do you have a spec sheet for the bio-impacter?
