Lamar, we stayed at one of the COE camps at Lake Lanier so I know you's have a great time. It's a beautiful setting. If we didn't have to drive through Atlanta to get there, we'd probably go there again.

Have a wonderful, wonderful weekend.

God Bless all the Vets including my father for what they have done to make this a great country. We are just staying home and having a cook out here at the park. You all have a great day.

Lamar, Marsha and I have reservations at Duckett Mill for June 23-30, the first time we will have stayed there. We walked through it over spring break when it was still closed and we were quite impressed with it. I believe we have site 60 then as we only walked through one part of it due to time.

We also have reservations at Old Federal for July 16-21.

WOW, that sure went quick, we're already home, but we had a great time. Now we have to wait three weeks for our one week trip to SD for my mom's 80th and a small family reunion.

Dave,

We're going to be in the Custer area. My sister made the reservations because of needing a cabin, I wouldn't have stayed there based on the price. It's called Presidents Resort and it's nice enough but they've gotten REAL expensive. Where you going to be.

J.D.,

If we're in town, we'll try to get over and see you one day. We're not cmapground hosting so we're trying to decide where we're going and when.

Our time to be at Duckett Mill begins tomorrow; we will be there until June 30. Apparently the COE has released a tremendous amount of water from Lake Lanier during the spring, so the water is supposed to be WAY down. We will see…

Hope it is not too hot; temps around here have been hovering around the mid to upper 90s, with Athens reaching the century mark today!
