I used self adhesive uhmw strips .125 x 1. Jacked up one end of slide, installed on end through front, then cut to fit. Then other end.

Can you post pictures. I have a rub spot and I'm looking for ideas to deal with it.
Ours will be 2 years old in May. Before we left the house on this current road trip I know for a fact I had no wear on the bottom darco (black tarp) plastic. I lubricant the mechanical parts before retracting the slides and I inspected all slides.
When we got to our first stop I had a wear spot.
You can see a line where the dinning room (right) slide rests on the rub bar.

My slide was jacked up too. I made a new slide friction bar out of high density plastic and installed the same under the slide in sheet form. No more binding. I'm in the process of rebuilding my slide floor it rotted. Found they used 3/16 Luon board, same stuff they use for the walls for the slide surface floor. I'll use 15/32 strand board to sandwich the floor frame. Should distribute the weight better and reduce stress and maintain original floor thickness.
