1st shakedown trip
Had our first weekend with the new Montana 3781RL, Not so well of a shakedown lots of problems, aside from the rear wall stricture issue and the hydraulic pump the water pump, fan on heater real loud, stove don’t light, rust spots in a new stainless steel sink and the best of all on the way out the Black and Gray tanks wont drain, on the bright side our T-Mable hot spot worked well and there was a lot of rain so watched a lot of Netflix, the Volume on the Jensen DVD was not so good, I am real glad we got the trailer a year Early, I am real disappointed in the Montana “Hi End Luxury fifth wheel.

Lou,
Good luck working through your issues. Some are not real common.

Lou, curious who your dealer was. Those should have been found before PDI. Best of luck getting everything worked out. We all get a few early hour issues, but the ones you mentioned should have been documented and fixed by your dealer. We spent 7 nights at our dealer getting things addressed, mostly a satellite issue that was a combination of a bad satellite dish from Winegard with an intermittent DirecTV receiver issue. Our dealer is meticulous on PDI and my wife is worse. She made them put felt pads on door handles picky. Enjoy your new Montana. Everything you mentioned is readily fixable. With parts shortages, it may take some time.

Sorry to hear about all your problems, however it is new and there are going to be some bugs that need work. Some of yours sound a bit much, but rag on the dealer and get them fixed to your satisfaction. We bought a new Montana a few months ago and have had a number of small issues, but the dealer has been pretty good to work with. The problem has been getting the new parts for them to install. Been waiting on some parts for over three months now and still no word on when it might arrive. Make sure everything is documented so that even if your warranty runs out you have proof you brought it to someones attention!!! Hang in there, hopefully it will get better!!
