Hecky Darn!

I stole the "Hecky darn" from somebody on here Thanks, that's a good one.

It seems as though the moderators have pulled the "Dealer Rating" post.
Must'a been politically incorrect?.......
Hecky darn!, I was so looking forward to using that info to find a decent repair shop.

Hi. I posted the Dealer Rating originally. The admin has been in touch with me and we are probably going to work it out so it can be back. I'm waiting for a reply now.
Keep watching.

Dave,

I sold my travel trailer on consignment at Wippert's RV Repair in Yucaipa. I also bought my Pullrite Superglide hitch there. Yucaipa isn’t too far out of the way for repairs.
Who's the mechanic you know?

Thanks,

Ken

Send a message via MSN to Parrothead
Since you guys are not far from me I will also suggest to you Bob's Trailer in Hemet. We've been using them for many, many years. Of course this is for "out of warranty" work. Their lead guy there, Earl, is a real nice man and has been doing this for a long time.
Happy trails..........................

Larry, I'll keep an eye out for it's return. I think it will be a valuable asset for MOC members.

Stiles, From your reply you must be the originator of "Hecky Darn". Thanks again

Biff, Thanks for that link. I actually had that one buried away in my favorites and didn't know it. I see that my dealer isn't very popular with anybody. I'm not surprised.

Sue & Ed, Thanks, Hemet isn’t too far either. I am out of warranty now but I thought it would probably be best to go to a dealer that sells Monty's since they would have easier access to Monty parts. Now that I've done some repairs I think "parts is parts" and any good mechanic can get parts. I'll keep Bob's Trailer in mind. Actually, Montana customer service recommended them when I first complained to them about Mike Thompson last year. I called Bob’s on a Saturday (I think they were closed) and left a message and never got a call back.

The mechanic I use is Bud Heston at Hestons RV, one person shop, his wife works the counter. No ads, not on the main drag, if you don't know about it you would never find it. Great people. His wife will look for what ever you need and if she finds it cheaper than they can supply it she will tell you where to go and get it. I signed the papers on my new rig this morning so I have a year of dealer warranty now, whoo hoo. Pick it up next saturday.
