We picked up our 3500RL Friday. The dealer had fixed every thing on our list from previous inspections. On the final PDI we found a couple more things and they fixed them while we were waiting. There has been a lot of talk about dealer quality of service. I don't think there are very many good dealer service departments. They had fixed the supports for the wiring harness under all slides not by replacing the supports but by simply putting more screws in the harness.
It would have broken again. This is a very poor design. When I got home I redid the repairs using door hinges as described on this forum. It worked great. It cost $11.57 for parts and about 35 minutes of my time. I had told the delaer about the use of hinges but guess he did not want to spend the $11.57. I have come to the conclusion that if you want it done right, do it yourself.
I have already done saome modes. Added a second battery box, installed a second outlet under the computer disk, put in hand rail to the bedroom, and am installing the holding tank chemical dispensing system.
We are leaving for the lake the 29th of March for 6 to 7 months as I do volunteer work for the COE.
Have a great day.
