try this page:

in the far right hand column is a line speaking to availability of molded fiberglass front cap,

not sure reading it right, but seems to me that it is only available on Mountaineer 5ers.

Carol and Steve,

Thanks for the info. I guess the molded fiberglass front cap is history on the Mountaineer travel trailers. IMHO this is a mistake and will hurt Mountaineer Travel Trailer sales, but what do I know? I'm just a consumer. I'm just glad mine has the fiberglass front cap.

Stopped at Montana dealer today, picked up a few new Brochures, here is the front of the Mountaineer Travel Trailer.

Did not see one on the lot tho.

yes, I saw the new front too and glad I bought mine which is a titled 2006 with the fiberglass front because it was one of the things I really liked and it set the camper off from all the other styles. I really cannot understand how they change styles on the same year so much. I too feel that the new front makes them look so so...Mac~

Friends of ours went to a Michigan RV show and saw the new front, they were not impressed. If it is one that is like a prototype that Al and I saw last summer, we would agree, not impressed.

Wonder if anyone else has seen one??
Sort of a sidebar but the Mountaineer travel trailer has taken a bit of a dive in this respect too. The front had been the molded cap gel-coat as seen in my signature. The new front is flat and the same materials as the sides (filon) as seen on their homepage. http://keystone-mountaineer.com/
