Lippert Leveling System

I have a 2015 3790RD. It appears that the auto leveling does not level anymore. I have thought of trying to reset the system by the method Lippert has provided. What I don't know is if the trailer must be level to use their reset method or if it is not relevant if it is level because we are simply resetting their system to a preset point. Has anybody done this reset or has checked this out?

Yes the trailer needs to be level as that will become it's new zero point. Manually level the unit and then recalibrate it with the 10 front, 10 rear sequence.
