Water taps in the outdoor utility center

I'm going to be away for about a month so I thought I'd winterize the plumbing water lines. While pumping in the antifreeze I noticed the metal gizmo that you plug the blue hose into is siezed up with rust. The taps and threaded part that a metal gizmo/socket screws on to are made from a plastic type material (possibly PVC). The metal gizmo/socket screws on to the plastic tap threads. Does anyone know where to get the metal part (gizmo/socket) that the blue hose plugs into? I'm going to check around to see if Home Depot/Lowes has a small hose that would screw on to the plastic taps, or possibly they may have an
adapter or replacement metal gizmo.

Had I known metal gizmo socket was junk I would have been taking it off and soaking it in rust remover.

Home Depot/lowes do carry products like that. I installed in my city water line, so I can just snap my hose on and off.

I went to Home Depot and bought a brass hose adapter with 1/2" female at one end and 3/4"male at the other. I screwed the female end on to the PVC threaded spout in the utility center and now I can connect a plain hose to the tap spout. I was hoping to find a 1/2" quick connect that I would of screwed to the tap spout, but apparently they are not available in a 1/2". I would have thought that Keystone would know that their metal quick connect gizmo would rust, but I guess they don`t care.
