Finally settling down and getting things in order!

We are finally getting to make sense out of our New Montana as well as the MOC site! We are Wade and Sue, currently of Silverdale Wa. We plan to complete the sale of our home and begin full-timing. Wade is still working with Manson Construction and will be traveling to different work sites along the West and Southern coasts. In between jobs we will home base in Lodi Ca. We had trouble signing in and we first appeared as Wade and Sue; On the Road. That's been corrected. Now we look forward to our full time life in our Montana 3650RK. We took it on our Maiden Voyage for 1 night and came home with our list of "How Not To's" Had a great time learning though...One hint...for your first time parking in a small camp site, don't park in between 2 people who are also 1st timers! LOL...We had fun. Look forward to getting to know tons more!

Congratulations and welcome aboard! I got a chuckle out of your comments. We've all been there and we all continue to screw things up sometimes. I seem to do that in spades at times. Somewhere on MOC is a thread about time to 'fess up. That thread holds a wealth of info about mistakes we've made. Hope you enjoy the new lifestyle. Hardest thing for us, besides learning to share a bathroom (!) was to slow down and get ourselves out of vacation mode. We don't have to see and do everything in one week or two. If we don't get it all done, we can stay longer or come back another time. Mixing relaxing with pleasure (and the everpresent housework) is where it's at for us.

Welcome Wade and Sue,
Enjoyed your comments about your first time out...isn't parking these big rigs an adventure? We have set rules about parking in this household. The female fan DOES NOT use arm waving signals or screaming at any time. The only comment allowed is "STOP!" The male fan spends a lot of time getting out of the truck and checking the situation out for himself. Works out fine for us!
Good luck and happy camping.
