Pioneer RV Park

I'm looking at staying at the Pioneer RV park in the north part of Phoenix for three weeks in January-February. I liked the location in the desert and the north side of the city with access to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Has anyone been to this park and, if not, does anyone have suggestions/recommendations for nice parks in the Phoenix area with good views of the desert/mountains?

Hey Bob and Lynn, not sure if you want to be close to city amenities, but here is another option for you. Pleasant Harbor RV Park. This is located at Lake Pleasant which is about 8 miles from I-17 (the route to Sedona) It's a nice park with great desert view and it's right at the lake. You would be 2 minutes away from the lake and desert. The nights would be quiet, cool, and star filled. Here is the link:
