hydraulic line leak beneath bedroom slider

Looking for anyone who has fixed own hydraulic cylinder leak. How does one gain access to hydraulic cylinder beneath bedroom slider on 2009 Montana 3400RL? We have a leak and dealer tells us they have to drop the entire under belly to get to the problem because the manufacturer places it in a several different locations, even in the same model, making it very difficult to get to.

Pull the storage floor under your bed. Members have added more storage space around the cylinder. You will find the cylinder above the bedroom floor but under the storage area floor.
Let us know what you find.
Edit, as Rich said if under warranty let a dealer work it.

Is it not still under warranty>>>> I would let the dealer deal with it. I don't think the underbelly needs to be dropped for the bedroom. We had a hose burst for the bedroom and they did not drop the underbelly to replace.

I'm with Rich ... dunno why dealer would say they need to drop belly pan. Bedroom slide's hydraulic hoses generally route directly from front storage compartment thru floor into bedroom coming out underneath bed. Here's a photo of what it looks like under the bed when you unscrew the storage floor panel. About any implement dealer or hydraulic supply house can make you up a hose. When you replace the hose, just cycle the slides in and out about 3 times ... the system will self bleed out the air.

the only reason to drop the under belly is if the hydralic has leaked down in there and needs to be cleaned up .other wise the cylinder is under the bed.

The bed is almost above the the hyd. pump. follow the two hoses that go through the top of the front compartment. There is no underbelly material there. Good Luck

I've got a slow drip coming down the hoses from the Bedroom slide.
Guess I'll be taking the bed apart soon.

If you have an O'Reilly's parts store near you, they also do a good job of making hydraulic hoses for you. Just take in the old one and they will match the old one. I've had several made for my tractor bucket loader there!

2009 unit, out of warranty unless extended one in place. As indicated, NAPA is great source for hose fabrication.
