New Tires

Saturday, had metal value stems put on our Montana 3400 so I could use a Tire Pressure Monitoring system (TST). While working on the tires, the mechanic noticed I had two very loose wheel bearings. I also noticed that two of my four Marathon tires were extremely worn on one side (less than 10,000 miles). Spend the rest of the day getting the wheel bearings worked on.

Today had four Goodyear G614 tires installed. I plan to have the axle alignment checked next month.

Good choice on tires and yes, by all means, get the alignment checked. With the wear on one side of all four, sounds like that.

I have the Marathon "bombs" on my 3000RK also. After a 10,000 mile trip I had significant wear on the front 2 tires. It was still under the 1yr warranty and my dealer thru Keystone replaced the front axle and 2 new tires. Still don't trust the Goodyear tires and will replace them next summer after trip thru the South. I also have the TPS system for the trailer. The monitoring system is somewhat sporadic, as it doesn't register all the tires all of the time. The batteries that came with the system had to be replaced within 6 months not the 1yr stated. I also had to buy the repeater beacause of having tool box in bed of truck.
