Devil's Den State Park is a neat place to visit, but it is north of there, probably closer to Fayetville. As I recall there are two roads in and one is not suited for a rig your size.

There's a COE park in Ozark, about 40 miles east of Ft. Smith. Mary thinks there's one [COE] just north of the river off of 540 [Springhill Park] and there's one just off interstate 40 at Van Buren, exit 5 [59? and 40] behind a Motel 6 [Overland RV Park]. It's right next to an RV dealer [Outdoor Living Center, the Russelville store is a Montana dealer].

I've planned three routes for us to get to Savannah, GA, from KC, in late December, giving me some options depending on weather. One of those routes I've picked Park Ridge RV Park in Van Buren, AR, on the north side of Ft. Smith. We've never been there but the Trailer Life directory rates it an 8.5 out of 10. Maybe someone who has been there can clue us whether it's ok or not. We'll just overnight there and are not real picky for just one night. I think this is the one Skip and Mary mentioned.
