This is just my opinion, but for what it's worth here goes. Because of the limited capacity of the water heater, ( 10 gallons in the Montana vs 30 or 40 gallons in the stick house ) it would make sense to me for the water to be hotter in the Montana. This way it would take less hot water flow to reach the desired temperature of the mixed flow. You should hold a thermometer in the hot water flow to determine the actual temperature though, as it may be overheating. Now that I've said all this, I must also say, I haven't looked to see what the temp should be.
