2011 3585sa slide outs
with the remote can I open only one slide instead of all 3?

Sorta. The remote triggers the pump motor of the hydraulic system. The hydraulic system pushed (or retracts) the slides. To limit which slides move you need to use the isolation valves in the panel on the drivers side.
