Tv/satellite

We are on our second season on our Monty 3721. We have never been able to connect the cable to the TV or the Satellite to the station on the side of our RV. I have to run the coaxial cable through the window to the tv. Also is there a tv booster on the Montana 3721 rl, if so where is it?

The antenna booster switch is often behind your bedroom TV where the cable is connected. I ran a direct cable through my slide out to run a cable to my receiver - works much better than going through a window or the splitters in the prewired setup.

I think the newer Montanas have KeyTV or something like that. If yours is a 19 or 20 (or maybe even 2018) it probably has it. That thing is supposed to be 'smart' and knows what you are trying to look at and does the 'booster' thing automatically . Also, if you are trying a satellite, if it doesn't have a separate power line to it (fed thru the coax instead), it won't work thru the KeyTV thing.
It this is all true, then you need to run a separate line or remove the keyTV and direct connect to the satellite feed.
