Because I have the setup and have been TS with both Victron and Lion Energy.. That is how I got the info... I have had to set the setting lower then what you would with others.

Can you perhaps provide some detail as to the specific settings you were instructed to “set lower” thereby providing some context.

As you may or may not know each battery manufacturer provides charging and discharging parameters for their respective products. At the end of the day all of those parameters are designed to safely get the cells to a desired voltage and current combination optimized for the cells to store the energy input.

Not to get too ahead here but if your particular issue(s) were a result of the first release of the Safari where the specified capacity of the battery was overstated.then I understand why you would have the impression you do. However if that is the case it’s a result of charge settings not matching the stated capacity not that the Safari is incompatible a specific charging product. Even the OEM PD charger will charge drop in LiFePO4 batteries just not to full capacity. While this is not something that will allow the full use of the product the flip side is that battery will last virtually a lifetime because of where it exists on the charging profile curve....buts that doesn’t make it broke

whitesub93, did you buy those batteries from Batteries Plus?
I had found another SLIGC110 battery for $109.99 on their site a few days ago but can't find it now. Maybe the price changed? It lists them as a replacement for the Trojan T105's. Just wondering if you have tried them.

They also carry the 235 amp/hour rated version for $20 more per battery. SLIGC125 is the part number. Its actually the Deka GC25.

I also have the Batteries+ SLIGC125 in my rig. I compared then to the Trojan T105.

SLIGC125:
235AH
125 RC @ 75A
68Lbs
$140

T105:
225Ah
447RC @ 25A
62#
$168

The Duracell had more lead and more AH than the T105 for less money.

I found a battery store in Mesa, AZ that had Trojans for $125. I read another thread on here that said the Deka batteries are good ones, but for the almost same money I went with Trojans.

Looks like I will be going with these. In stock in town and with discount $480. Any thoughts on these?

The problem with buying batteries online is the shipping. With batteries weighing close to 65# each the shipping cost can be 50% or more than the actual cost of the batteries.

Paid for these online today and picked them up in town. Got them home and installed with no issues. Old batteries were swollen and in bad shape and 8 years old. Hope these last half that long. Thanks to everyone for all your input. As always so very helpful.

Good choice. Those are Deka GC15 batteries with Duracell stickers on them.
Good batteries. Treat them right and you'll have no problem with 8 more years for your use.

Unless you need to lose the weight or gain that space,, stick with 4 6V. Quick fill included! One stop , one swap and done!. I’m with Mazboy - Costco seems to work fine in mine.
