New Orleans CG Recommendations
Planning to stop at New Orleans on our way back to WI. Anyone have a recommendation of a good park to stay in. Would like a shuttle to the French Quarter. Reviews are all over the map so I'm turning to my MOC friends who are usually the most reliable and honest.
Thanks, Dave K

We stayed at the New Orleans KOA. A little ways out but they provide shuttle service. Nothing special about the park itself but the people are super nice and very informative about the area. The shuttle into town is like a guided tour. We would stay there again. Jim

Thanks for the input. I was able to get a reservation at the KOA. I got the last site that the Monty would fit in. I found out later we are visiting New Orleans the week of French Quarter Fest. Really looking forward to the experience.

We were there last year during the French Quarter Festival and had a great time. Enjoy.

French Quarter RV is real nice with the rates that go with the convience. Walking distance to the Quarter but if you walk to the Quarter in the Daylight and plan on returning after dark, get a cab. Best $5/$10 you can spend. Much safer.
French Quarter RV is nice for passing thru and only spending a night or two due to price. If you plan on staying longer I would look at some of the other suggestions.
