Need to tighten gray water handle

The other day I pulled out on the galley gray water handle and it came off in my hand. Apparently, it came unscrewed from the part that sticks out from the valve. I was able to get it screwed back together but it won't tighten. It just keeps turning. I need to let the trailer bottom seal down in order to hold the other end while tightening the pull rod. The problem is, I don't know how to let the trailer bottom seal down. I thought it was held on by screws. To my surprise, they are some kind of special fastener without threads. I can't figure how to get them out.

Other option is cut a small access hole flap in the bottom fabric, and tape with Gorilla tape. I also used some adhesive on the threads when I rethreaded the he handle as I had it happen twice. No problems in over a year.

If you can pull the rod out with a pair of pliers, you will be able to hold the rod without getting underneath. You may also be able to slightly squeeze the end of the rod a bit to make the threaded hole a bit tighter to keep the screw from coming loose.

The coroplast on my 2015 3100rl is held on mostly with pneumatic nails. You can use a large flat screwdriver or a nail bar to pry them out.

You don't tell us which gray tank handle came loose. Is it the one that is in the convenient center or the one that is coming out of the frame by the axles? If it is the one in the convenient center you can take the wall out in the basement storage area and the cover over the convenient center and see where it is connected. More than likely you have lost the nut that holds the handle in place or it has loosened up.

As I said before, it was the Galley tank handle.

Mine also has screws, I wonder when they started doing that?. And they must think there will be no need to access that area ever again. Yea. right.
