I dont think you can get a bad hitch, really just personal preference. Ive had 3 different hitches through the years & they all worked fine. I do like the below bed mounting, I hated the rails.

Yeah rails don't work for me either. The OEM package from GMC is awesome. Hitch coming Friday. I'll take pictures

Look at Trailersaver! The name says it all. I’ve had mine for years and makes towing my 3750FL pleasureable.

Not sure if mine is "the best", but I have the same truck (SRW) and just brought home my 3741fk. It was super easy to hook up and pulled like a dream. Yesterday, I need my full use of the bed, so within 10 minutes, I was able to remove the hitch by myself (which only weighs 35lbs) and place it into the garage. I am going to re-install the hitch tomorrow (by myself) and then hook back up and take it to the mall to practice backing into tight spaces.

I started with a PullRite Superglide and hated it! You have to hook up virtually straight on or you have problems. I really didn’t like all the problems with it.

I sold it for half price, and purchased a B&W Hitch and love it! I can now hook up and unhook at an angle. I highly recommend B&W....

I got the 16k Patriot by B&W for my F-250. I’ve used it for two years and other than being very careful when backing I love it. Just ordered the sliding base for it so I can relax a little.

The standard B&W hitch weighs about 150lbs, but The hitch comes apart into two pieces easily. The two parts are about 75lbs each. I love my B&W in my DRW, but I am thinking of converting to a Reese Goose Box so I can have an open bed when not towing.

I have hooked and unhooked off camber and any angle. B&W never misses a beat. I have been off as much as 15 degrees and still hooked and unhooked just fine.

After Reese was an Anderson ~ gave the Reese away and Anderson to the metal recycler! B&W the only way to go!

Love the idea of the Anderson hitch, but I've seen too many reviews showing failures of the hitch and problems with the 5er when using. It worries me that the 5er isn't supported properly. Search "Anderson Hitch Failures" on youtube.com.

Super Glide if yours is a short bed, pulled mine around 30,000 miles, no problems.
Very happy.
If I had a light 5th Wheel I think the Anderson would be great, easy to remove

Of the many things I like about the Andersen hitch is that I can unhook for storage and have it in the storage compartment of the RV by my self in less than 10 minutes.

B&W Companion. Had some play in the jaws of my first hitch, they sent a new one and have had no problem with it.

I bought me B&W when they were $700 shipping included. They gave me dealer prices. It’s has worked great for all these years.
