Squeaky slides

Hi all,
I have a 3610RL. I have had issues with squeaking, screeching sounds when the living room slides are retracted. I have used silicone spray lubricant and the spray lube for gears, runners, etc. which is sold for RV usage.

But....the darn slides still make quite a noise upon retraction.

Has anyone had a similar problem? If so, were you able to discover a solution?

Thanks!

Get some PB Blaster and spray on the gear packs formthe hydraulic slides.. two packs per slide.. have someone operate slides while you spray and wipe each pack as slide runs in and out.

Then use dry gray graphite spray on the gear pack teeth...

If issue persists Lippert has a service bulletin that shows where and how to further lubricate the gear packs

For sure and that odor doesn't go away very soon either. PB has other products that work well though that dont'

its Good stuff and works well. Rusting gear packs and dirty bearings on the gear packs along with a reseat of packs will cure the issue. Those gear packs are exposed to everything. Should be cleaned and lubed several times a year with non grit attracting lubricant. They will also move much easier and hyd pump motor will draw less current while operating the slides.
