Pictures of Inverter Install

these are the pictures of the Inverter install in our Montana
Voltage Controller
325watt Inverter
Reinforcing for bed sidewall
Cable coming from the Inverter 12/3 wire
Box hole in bed sidewall
Box installed
back of bed sidewall with box and reinforcing plate installed
Plug in finished

I can now run my CPAP machine without being plugged in. I have a Genset box in the front so I use that for a dirty area and reinforced the wall with 3/8 plywood. I would suggest that you cut out the plate for the sidewall first as after I first installed the box I then realized it needed reinforcing. Total cost approx. $60.00 I bought the Inverter for $35.00 for amazon.com the first one on this website is the one I got.

I did nearly the same thing. However I ran #10 fused wire up through the same hole as the hyd line for the slide out and mounted the inverter under the bed on a foam square with the 110 plug end facing out where I plug in my CPAP. I can run over three days with no problem. My CPAP has the built in humidifier so it does take a little more than some.
Before I put in the inverter I tried to run it off the 12 volt plug at the TV booster and it would only have enough voltage to operate the CPAP without the humidifier unless I was plugged into shore power.
Happy sleeping and how good it is to have never snored for over 6 years now, thanks to CPAP.

Some CPAPS will run off of 12 volt. I know Respironics makes some that do.

Yes may do run off 12 volt. I didn't want to spend the extra money and I already had the inverter. Me cheep.
