2017 Montana Fridge Settings

Hi, My Dometic Fridge has a "temp" Setting of 1 to 5... Is 3 NORMAL and others not... really looking for best setting in hot 90 Degree days... should it be set to what and is there a range for each number like 1 is 70 to 80 degrees and fridge is 36 degrees? Any help appreciated!!: bow:

There is no magic formula, would start with 3 and go from there. If you get a good reefer thermometer it will help.

When it’s really hot, I set it at 4. Normally I would have it at 3. 4 will put mine in the low thirties on a normal temperature day. 3 will give me high thirties or olow forties on a normal day. I hope this helps.

We run at three. If the day gets hot and frig temp climbs we move to 4. Have never had to max out at 5. We always shoot for 34-38 average, will often go to low 40s during defrost operation.
