It uses a flowjet pump and has 1"x 25' and 1"x 50' extension hoses available. I've had mine for about 6 months and it works real well. A bit pricey, but you don't need to hook it up to water to pump. Check around online for pricing as it varies widely from what CW sells it for. www.cleandump.com tc
