Lunch in Colorado

I know there are a number of MOC members living in Colorado. Co Rattler, Snowbiz, and Rambling Roadrunner are all in Colorado. There are probably many more. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in having lunch and maybe planning a Colorado rally. Later October, early November, weekend, weekday?

Hey Ron,
We're just up the road from you in Wyoming and although we've already gave our rig the pink drink and put it in storage for the winter, we would still gladly attend a weekend gathering.

Great idea, Ron. We really enjoyed having you & Terri as neighbors in Indiana and would be game for lunch or weekend (although winter seems to be coming quick).

Tom, we have spent 11 weeks on the road since I retired May 1. Mike, sounds like you've left already. Don, alway room for nor neighbors to the north. Bud, we enjoyed meeting you and Susie at the rally. Once we get home I'll try to set something up.

Jay and Rhonda, I think you will love the living room/ kitchen area in the 3582. We have the 2013 358rlt in the Mountaineer because we wanted the side all in one bathroom, but we absolutely love the LR/K. So much counterspace and room to walk all around the island. We put our sofa in the rear and moved the chairs by the dining table so we are able to watch TV straight on and lie on sofa and watch. No problem with slides coming in with sofa in the rear. I know you will enjoy that floor plan. We have had 9 rvs, 4 of them fifth wheels and this is by far our favorite.

We were looking at the 3400 7 years ago and then the 3402 and now the 3582. We are planning on arranging our floor plan the same way. We've been planning this for way too long. Oct 2014 we pull the trigger and go full time. We sold our mountain property after the Rally. Old people and 9850 ft don't get along. How is Alabama to winter in?

Ron, Let do this thing. I can help you plan and find a place where we can visit and eat. Looks like we have people coming from all over.
What kind of fule milage are you getting pulling your rig, highway without pulling and around town? The new Rams with only 10 miles on them that I have driven seem to be a little slow on acceleration. Do they get better after some miles? How many miles are you getting out of the DEF tank?

Jay, I get 10-11 towing, 21 or so on the highway. As for acceleration, transmission and rear ratio will have a big influence. I've spun the wheels with the trailer attached. So, I'd say no problem accelerating. I'll toss out a date - Saturday December 7th about 1:00? We have people coming from Wyoming and Colorado. Jay, do you want to propose a venue?

The 7th of Dec. works for us. We are thinking somewhere about I 25 and Longmont. How does that sound? We will figure out somewhere where it isn't so loud and we won't be rushed out and can visit. How does this sound to the other interested MOCers?

Jay and Rhonda, we only live 250 miles from the Alabama gulf coast, but we have spent the last 8 years in Gulf Shores, Al.
Until last year we stayed at a campground on Ft Morgan road that was needing some upkeep so we decided to try the Gulf State Park .
The lots are very big but it's hard to get reservations unless you make them right now, and I do mean NOW, for 2015. We used to go to Bushnell, Fl
but I do love all the seafood restaurants , the beautiful white sand beaches, and convenient shopping at Gulf Shores. Not as warm as Florida but we like it. If you come our way, be sure to look us up. I think you will love the new Rv for full timing.

Don and Wendy, sounds good. We are looking forward to this "get together". This could be the start of a Rocky Mountain Region.

We really have no preference but Johnson's Corner on I25, exit 254 might be considered.
