Wire Routing for Fireplace???

I have read that several of the members have installed fireplaces in their rigs. I have several questions for any of those members that can help me:
--- Did you use romex (#14 or #12) or three, single-stranded wires (to turn corners in the slide) for the black, white and ground?
--- Do you have to drop the "belly" under the circuit panel to access that portion of the run?
--- Any suggestions or hints would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

From my signature, I don't know if the 2003, 3670RL has any unique quirks!

Thanks greatly!

You can just tie onto the living room, or entertainment center power source close by. It would be ideal to run to the breaker and have it's own, just depends on how much work you want to do.
Use 12 gage romex with ground; 12-2 with gnd.
Good luck, Art.

We just completed putting in a fireplace, we ran a separate circuit for the fireplace, the manufacture recommended it. We used 12-2 with G, running the wire was the hard part had to drop the belly, not fun. Zip-tie the wire where it crosses the frame, also put some slit hose on the frame to protect the wire, we had to run the wire about 20 feet.

Art,

I just finished putting in our fireplace about a week ago. I have an inverter, and have disconnected the converter, so running the wire under the stairs to the old converter plug was a breeze.

In our model, the wiring should be pretty easy from the panel; it is only about 5 feet at most to the main electrical box.

What brand is the fire place? Part number? I have been debating on whether to add one below the television in my unit which is where the converter & breaker box are both located.
Thanks
Phil
