propane fitting help flare type

does anyone know what kid of flare this is? It goes to my stove the pilot light it broke

It looks like a compression fitting. A brass ring slides on the copper tubing and when you tighten the nut on the fitting it compresses the brass ring. If that is what it is you need to get a new fitting and cut the tubing off just behind the old one so you can slide the new one on.

awaywego i know the compresson fittings but this is aluminum pipe 1/8 inch seems it was modled like you see it.

Aluminum is used with pilot lines, it looks like an aluminum ferrule, but I have only seen brass ferrules in my trade. Show us the fitting if you can, but I agree it is compression. The tightening of the fitting just 'galled' the ferrule connection.
(Unless they are using something I haven't seen, which is always possible.)

They replaced their pilot light on their Keystone Cambridge, looks like the fitting you need comes as an assembly on the pilot light gas line assembly (according to the picture anyway).

i think i figured out that this in done factory and can be replaced with a pressure fitting do you concur OZZ

thanks for the info helps, i went there and will pick that up if i cant use a pressure fitting. I also saw on his sight that i have my ambient switch on which is helping drain my batteries in cold weather love this blog

Yes, it is just a compression fitting, copper will work, drop by the house here, I have about 100 of them..

LOL thnaks for confirming, i picked one up and I can eat again. Just threw me when i saw it. It aluminum have to not bend it to much. thanks all for the help
