Convection on Apollo Microwave

Has anyone had the convection part quit working and if so were you able to get it fixed? Any self fixes or had to send it out? Everything else works just fine.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob, yes, I fixed mine, the fan motor is probably bad. Does the heating element glow red? Does the fan blow and no heat?

Does the countertop version of the Apollo oven sold at walmart replace the one in the Montana? Looks to me like the built in components and fan kit can be used with Walmart oven. Has anyone done this? this is a 199.00 replacement vs a 400.00+ replacement

On my Apollo one of the heating coils quit working and then the entire convection operation did.
Got replacement parts from the company that sells them and completed repairs. Has been working fine since (over a year of infrequent use...)

I talked to midwest sales today on availability of refurbished apollo units. Not in stock. In fact, no units in stock at all. They are expecting shipment and I am on the waiting list for one. The replacement heater assay is about $70. They are in stock.
