Handle for landing gear

My wife had a difficult time raising the landing gear, so I made her a handle for each leg. Remove the landing pad, take a five inch bolt (threaded about an inch on the end) and put one nut on the threads about a 1/2 inch from the end, place it through the bottom hole on the leg and put a locknut on the other end and tighten to the leg and replace pad.

Sounds like a great improvement. I also saw an idea that made use of a bicycle handle and grip that was welded to the landing plate. I think the idea was in a Trailer Life magazine. Both ideas would sure help to raise the legs.

When I ordered my "Rotochuks" I was given two handles for the landing gear free of charge. They work real nice in lifting the legs up.
