Trip to Delores, co from Fontana ,ca

Planing our trip in June to the Spring Rally. Going from Flagstaff to Delores by way of 89 and 160. Has anyone gone this route? How is it? Are there any RV parks or places to boondocks. Since it is on the Navajo land we wondered thanks

I did that in 2017. Pretty easy drive except for the last 15-20 miles south of the turn off for 160. It is VERY rough with swails. It has been this way for many years tho. I think the soil has something to do with this.

Ken, Mexican Hat and VOTG are two of the BLM gems in Utah on 163. We will most likely back track via 191 to 160 to work our way to Delores. I am reading that it is the better alternative to UT 162 and a wash for time. Still in the early stages of planning but that is what I am finding from other internet postings.
