Added a fireplace
My wife has always wanted a fireplace in our rv. Our last 5th wheel didn't have the space to place it under the TV area. This Montana we just got has a perfect spot and I think it was optional from the factory.
We bought a 30" Furion from etrailer and installed it last Friday afternoon. Took about three hours to build a box frame out of some scrap poplar so the fireplace face would be flush. I had a scrap piece of 1/2" oak that worked as a filler above the fireplace.
The wife is happy.

Nice job. No doubt you will enjoy the added heat source. They are just fancy space heaters but we enjoy ours and use it a lot in the cooler months.
