Fuse for Landing Gear/Slides
Hi All - I'm new to this forum. I just purchased a 2010 Montana Hickory. 1st time trying the landing gear in my driveway - nothing. Slides - nothing. Battery switch is on. Shore power plugged in - lights all work. Is there an in-line fuse? If so, where is it?

Mine is a 2019. It may be different. Look in the upper right corner of the battery compartment for a couple of inline fuses ( yellow arrows)

Forgot to ask, do you have hydraulic slides and landing gear/jacks?

You say this is the first time trying it in your driveway. Is it safe to assume that it worked when it was delivered to your driveway?
The system is pretty simple. 12V power to a 50 amp self-resetting circuit breaker goes to the Thrombeta valve. The switch sends 12V to the Thrombeta valve to energize a relay that enables 12V to flow to the pump motor.
Is there 12V on the big red cable at the Thrombeta valve?
Is there 12v from the switch to the small wires attached to the relays on the Thrombeta valve? You should hear a click at the valve when the switch is pushed.
A VOM will quickly identify where to focus focus your investigation.

I’m thinking, with a 2010, unless the trailer had the hydraulic leveling retrofitted, he likely has electric landing gear. I believe, with that system, he would probably have a small self resetting breaker.

Right you are Bob! A 2010 precedes the hydraulic landing gear. So ignore what I wrote above.
There is a 30 amp *NOT* self-resetting fuse in the line to the motor. It is a standard flat blade automotive fuse. Over extend or retract the landing gear and, if you are lucky, you blow the fuse. The worm gears in the jacks don't like being over extended/retracted and have a tendency to break the shear pin or jam them so tight is can't be moved.
I know there are pictures of it somewhere here. I will try and find one.

Chris-- When you say the battery switch is "ON" do you mean the battery kill switch is in the ON position? If that is the case this means you have killed the power to the unit except for a few things. The landing gear should not be affected by that switch. Have you checked your battery or batteries for charge? If your unit has sat even with the battery kill switch on it will still drain the batter[y/batteries over time. I would think that what Carl and Bob have stated should steer you in the right position in the way of the fuse but if the battery is bad or dead this will not help. Check the battery for charge and then let us know what you've come up with.

A blown in-line fuse would stop the front jacks, but should not affect the slides.
On my 2007, the in-line fuse for the jacks is wired to the battery side of one of the auto reset circuit breakers so that it is effectively wired direct to the battery. That makes it independent of the breaker.
So it appears there is something else going on since the slides also do not work.
As suggested, I would check the battery to make sure it is fully charged and in good condition as a first step.

Thank you everyone for your reply. I'm going to use your suggestions today and I'll revert.
Battery Switch - Yes, the red handle 12V battery kill switch.
I picked it up and everything was working at the time.

Fuse for Landing gear/Slides
Ok - here we go:
Battery - fully charged. All lights work when not on shore power.
Found a 50A breaker, a 30A breaker, and I think another 30A breaker on the ceiling of the compartment, and 1 in-line 15A fuse. All of the breakers have continuity. 15A fuse looks fine.
Is there another 30A fuse I just can't find yet?
Still no landing gear, and slides do not work.
Ugh!

Landing Gear Not Working
Attached are some pictures of the compartment. Can't find any inline fuse after the 30A breaker the battery cable goes to. Battery is fully charged still. Continuity to all 3 breakers in the compartment. The one fuse holder with the blue wires is a 15A fuse - not blown.
Also, What does the black control box actually do?

Download the MyLCI app from Google play store. It has the troubleshooting matrix for the hydraulic system for your slides.
If your jacks are made by Lippert, you may find troubleshooting instructions in the app for that too.
When I just opened the app, a tech support person came online to help.

Landing Gear Not Working
Ok - It's fixed!
I learned that the black box is the remote control box.
A single post from the Ishlers - move the power supply to the manual switches and bingo - landing gear started working. I don't use the remote, so bypassing the remote is no problem. Thank you Ishlers!

Ah yes, the infamous remote control brain. It didn't dawn on me that you had one. That box is known to "lock up" and keep the switches from working (but the remote still does).

I blew my in-line fuse on my landing legs also. That's on my 2007 3400RL. oops, I see you got it fixed. Congrats!
