But not in the kitchen????
If not in the kitchen also then it must not be associated with the water heater.
No ideas here. Ours is over 5 yrs old and never had that problem.

have you been using it full time?f not, water probably got stinky from sitting, we notice it in our bathroom sink also when it sits. we did not use it much this summer, so I drained all the lines when I parked it. But I will flush with bleach when we go back out this month

BSJ,
We've not had that problem..... Yet! But if you've changed CG and water connection then you may have picked up some gunky stuff. Don't have the slightest idea why you would have it in bed and bath but not kitchen?! That is weird. Your best bet is to do what you said you were going to do. If that doesn't fix it..... Well good luck. And let us know what you find. Dennis

Had the same problem. If you don't have a washer installed then it is stale water in the Hot and cold water lines to the washer. You need to flush the lines by hooking up a hose periodically and flush both lines. That solved my problem. Just a thought, good luck

We had the same problem with the smell only noticed in the bathroom sink. We have a washer/dryer hook-up and no washer/dryer, drained the both hot and cold water lines that would go to the washer, problem solved. This would need to be done ever so often when the smell is noticed, about 2 times/year. I fixed a short hose with a quick connect female and put a male on each hot and cold faucet at the washer hook-up. Only takes a few minutes.

X2 what jwedell and dondrasmith wrote. The unused washer water lines are the source of your problem. Take their advice and the problem will go away (for a while).

Good luck!

Where are you located?
If you have high level of minerals, hard water, etc.
It could be your anode rod reacting with the water.
Now some of you are going to think I am full of it.
I speak from experience, for the 4 year we wintered in Yuma, about a month after we arrived, the water started to stick of sulfur.
I took out the anode rod and that took care of the sulfur smelling water.
Did going all winter without a anode rod hurt my water heater.
I don't think so as our unit is a 2005 and we have full timed for 6 years.

If you can find where the washing machine hot and cold water lines tee off you can cut in shut off valves there and solve the problem for good or until you install a washer.

You can have this problem even if you have a washer/drier and haven't used them for a while.
I know this for a fact!
