Since we've had to use the furnace the last couple of nights, I listened to it and it recycles every few minutes. On for about 4 minutes, then off for maybe 45 seconds then on again.
The thermostate is right in front of the door, would get any draft that should be coming in. I know when we used the air, the sun came in the door a bit and the AC ran all the time till the sun moved.
The bedroom is down right "hot".
Where is the thermostate in the 3400?

It is up by the desk area; living room. Get a dampered floor register for the bedroom, that will fix that problem. (And give you more heat in the kitchen.)

01RAMer,
The area to access the heater on our 3400RL is on the driver's side basement, behind the docking station. The plastic panel is secured by screws (square headed) like all the other screws on your trailer. Once you open this area you will see a mess of water hoses and the framing for the wall by the pantry. From there you will see the heater just aft of the docking station and to the right (looking aft) of the stairs. You can see the 110v to 12v converter under the stairs from here also. It is easier if you can crawl into the basement to get up close to the area.
Good luck, I hope they did a better job of securing your ducts than they did with ours, but I bet you will find some things that you can make better in that area of your rig.

Thanks for the help. I'm curious though, my converter is located behind the breaker panel over the coat closet, in my '07 3400RL, and I see you have the same outfit. Are you sure this is where your converter is?
