Roof truss layout

Im getting ready to put 4 solar panels on my 2005 2955RL. Does any one know if hitting trusses are required or is using a well nut sufficient? If trusses, what is the layout and spacing?
Thanks,
Joel

Put four panels on ours two years ago. I don't think I hit any trusses with the #10 stainless mounting screws and Dicor, but didn't really try to anyway. I put them cross-ways on each side to allow water to drain off easily and still leave lots of room for more panels later on. The four 100w panels have worked very well, charging four T-105s with less than a day's partial sun. The panels have stayed put with no sign of lifting or other problems after about 20k miles traveling, including a trip to the SW and another to the Pacific.

Have had seven panels up there for two years now also with about 20K on them with no problems. We also put them where they fit, not trying to hit the trusses.
