Camper cover

While waiting for my 3120 to be built I thought I would begin getting some thing for it. I was wanting to get a cover for it as I will want it protected between trips. Anyone have any suggestions for which is best in their opinion?

You'll find many here who like covers and others who don't. If you buy a new rig in the spring it spent the winter uncovered in storage and dealers lots and came out fine. Many of us, it parts of the world with bad winter weather have left them out all winter. On the other hand, some who had covers in places with strong winds have found that the covers can damage the finish.

You are getting a nice RV and there are LOTS of things to get for it.....but are you sure you want to get a cover? IMO more trouble than they are worth. Only thing I've seen them do is cause problems (freeze to trailer, tear up, demolish the finish on the trailer, break the drain spouts, retain moisture and cause mold etc.). Some folks like them.....I just don't know anyone that does.

This has been discussed here many times. There are tho groups one group likes them the other hates them. Stay tuned because you are about from both groups. Both will give you their opinions. Weight both and make your decision.

Had a couple and not a fan. Imagine a cover for a 35 footer weighs about a ton. You have to hump it up to the roof, spread it out, and try not to step on the wrong stuff that's all covered up. All while trying to not to fall off. There's more but you get the idea. If not storing it for a long time, I advise against it.
