Considering purchase of 2016 Monty 3790RD. Have read multiple posts re lack of quality in certain years of Montys. Anyone have experience or comments re this model and year? Currently have '03 3295RK and it has been very good over the years.

For what its worth, as the owner of a 2017 3790RD, our issues have been mostly cosmetic ones. Annoying for sure, but fixable with some of my time and often glue. So I think most of your focus should be on how well (or not) the current owner looked after the rig you are looking at.

Agreed. I have a 2019 3791RD. Quality if pretty good, as far as an RV goes. Better than most, not as good as others. The most important thing is how well the original owner kept up with repairs and maintenance.

As mentioned above, a lot depends on the previous owner. One thing to remember is that there are thousands of members here and this is the place to come if you have problems so you, for the most part, only see problems. Many owners aren't having problems and very happy with their rigs.
