Dryer Vent Exit
Have a 2014 Montana Mountaineer, the w/d goes in front closet. Don't want to exit the vent thru side. Was wondering has anybody has anybody ran it thru the battery compartment and exit thru the bottom. Or just open compartment when in use and let it hang out ? Thanks for any feedback. Ray

We went thru the side as designed. 6 years in that rig and no issues. If you go straight down from the front closet you'll be coming out on the bottom of the cap, not in the battery compartment.

If yours is in the front closet like mine, it is just as Dick said, well forward of the battery compartment and over the front overhang. You can see my vent just back from the front cap at the curve in the molding. That is also the location of the back of the washer/dryer.

you want the shortest route with a dryer vent to limit lint build up, fire hazard
