Farewell and Safe Travels!

Well, after being here for over a decade with two Montanas, we have purchased SOB in pursuit of our full time plan next year.

This site was one of the first of it's type to pop up on the internet and it has supplied me with tons of useful information and knowledge.

Not that anyone would say "Where the heck has he gone?" but I wanted to say goodbye and thanks for so many years of help and internet companionship.

Wayne

Good luck. Do you have to leave the forum? Don't see why

Probably won't but left the brand.

You still have lessons to share (and learn). Plus many of the issues on SOB are often common with Montana.

You can stay as an active member, you just can't talk about or post anything about your new SOB, other than basic details.
We started with a 2010 Montana 2955RL but in 2012 switched to an SOB and now on our second SOB, but still spend lots of time here as I still thing the Montana Forum is about the best one going. Doesn't get nasty like some of the post over on RV Net, things can get pretty heated over there.

Welcome to "no man's land!" Just kidding, of course

You have a lower MOC number than I, so I consider you an elder statesman.

You will remember Glenn and Loraine and Steve Reigle, and perhaps Ontmont and Helen Moll. (I forget all the usernames of others I remember.)

Of course Carol and Al and Richfaa who go back to those days are still around.

I read but rarely post but we have made good friends through the MOC--have had at least three of those I named above to stay here in our back yard and have met all of them on the road.

All brands can be an SOB sometime during your ownership.

Yes, I sure do recognize all those names. The up-side of the internet to feel that quick warmth at the mention of another long-timer!
