As a contrast, left work at about 7 this evening and had to scrape about a 1/4 inch of ice off of the truck! Enjoy the temperate weather Larry!

Larry come and join us in Nebraska. It is currently -1* with a wind chill of -18* and 5-6" of the pretty white stuff on the ground. Temps are suppose to drop to -10 To -12* and the wind chill is suppose to drop to -25 to -30*. Going to have a heat wave tomorrow of 13* and over the weekend we will have more of the white stuff. Enjoy your temps and your time down there!

I can't remember a winter when we had this many cold days. Many of our daily highs have been lower than the normal low. A couple ice/snow storms already. High of 28 today. Mid teens tonight. Snow flurries tomorrow and maybe again Friday. Well below normal the last 3 months. Nothing compared to our neighbors to the north, but cold to us north Texans.

I left for work this morning and it was 19.5 degrees outside. It warmed up to a whopping 26.1. The best part, especially in Seattle, was that it's the Seahawks victory parade today and crystal clear outside! That said, I'd still prefer to be in much warmer weather, but can't complain when I see what others are going through on the east coast! Enjoy the warm weather and we'll just think about it! Spring is on the way (or so they say)!!!

P.S. they estimated 700,000 - 1,000,000 people attended the parade in that cold weather!

It has been a little cool here in the high desert of Tombstone Az the last few days. Heading to the Phoenix area tomorrow (Gold Canyon RV Resort for a 12 day stay) to get some more "dry " heat. Looking forward to the "hitch up" in the morning (see my post) !!!

Just finished plowing the driveway after a 10" snow fall yesterday/last night. That was the 8th Wednesday in a row that we have had a snow storm. Come on the end of Feb, and we are out of here, heading South some where. Maybe Al gulf coast.

You are not far from Lake Louisa State Park. A pretty park you should check out. Nice camping there with some site that offer full hook up.

Also Wekiwa River State Park is close and the offer full hook up. Both parks have great hiking trails.

Today was a good day in S Texas. 80 degrees and got the furnace worked on. Y'all come see us.....

We gathered 13 of our friends at the river (Rio Grande) and went to our favorite Pharmacy. (Susy's in Progresso) The owner also owns a restaurant and you get free drinks with every prescription you fill. So who are we to waste a coupon for a drink....

Larry, Snowed all day here in Fayetteville and dropped about three inches of the white stuff. More snow turning to possible freezing rain tomorrow and the prognosis for Thursday remains questionable. Enjoy the "Sunshine State".

Ditto the mountain clime and the snowy conditions here in WV, Tim. At my second office (two work locations now on two different mountains), we just today managed to unfreeze the water in the building. It is truly a blessing to be able to flush the toilet without pouring two gallons of drinking water in the tank!! See what you "uncool" MOCers are missing out on!! Don't forget the sunscreen!!!!
