Mike,
We have some friends who use a service out of South Dakota. Drop Steve Reigle a line. His user name is sreigle ...... He will give you the pros and cons of the service they use. Escapees RV Club also has an excellent mail service. They can be contacted at http://www.escapees.com/ Apparently you need to be a member of the club to use the mail service but I do not know that for certain. The Escapees club is an excellent RV club and worth the yearly fee whether you use the mail service or not. The mail service does cost extra. They have various options to meet just about any mail needs a member might have. Good luck and enjoy your new adventure. Dennis

I just started with this one too. I did go full time and have changed residence (drivers license, vehicle registration) to SD.

There are any number os places that off mail forwarding services, Good Sam, Passport America, St. Brendan Island. You just have to see which one fits your needs. We will most likely setup with one this winter and since we spend winter in Florida will probably use one of the services out of Florida. Good luck and enjoy the journey.

We use Escapees and like the others have nothing but good things to say. Based on the posts on this form and others the South Dakota ones are good also.

Alternative Resources, 3700 S Westport Ave, Sioux Falls SD is a great outfit. Both for mail forwarding and for establishing and maintaining legal residence in the state. Web page at Alternative Resources.COM

For 12 years of full timing we have subscribed to the Escapees Mail Service. They have a top of the line service for people like us. All employees involved in the mail room are bonded. We keep a deposit on hand at the mail service of a minimum of $25.00 deposit for their use in mailing out our mail whenever we call for it. We've never missed a mail shipment and they've always been on time. We call for it to be sent out from Livingston, TX on a Friday via Priority Mail (usually costs around $9.00) and have it on Monday. Once in a great while it arrives on Tuesday, but most of the time Monday.

We used Alternative Resources in Sioux Falls, SD and just finished up all our documentation this past week while we were out there and everything was about as seamless as you can get. Paul and his staff at AR were very helpful and courteous. We stayed at Tower Campground while we were out there and Dave and Judy at the campgournd were also very helpful!

Good Luck!

Les
