I could take the snake just fine. Now if that was a BIG hairy spider!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! Get out of my way. Makes my skin crawl just to think of it.

Anybody know how they get in through the slides? I can see maybe if there's a gap in the seals but there aren't on ours. However, we did have a ton of hackberry moths ride in on the top of the slides. They survived the wiping by the seals. Tough little buggers they are. You have to swat them three times to kill them, it seems. Anyhow, those trying to come through on the bottom of the slide didn't survive the wiping, those on top did. So is this the way a snake would get in, riding the top of the slide? Maybe falling out of tree onto the slide? Maybe that's another reason to have slide toppers.
