I have ridden past the Intrepid many times. I always end up there when I can't find the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel.

The 4th of July we will be camping in Jersey City (urban camping ie. parking lot). The CG is a marina and the sites are on the water with a great view of the NY skyline, the Statue of Liberty and (should be) a front row seat to the fireworks.

The waterway Taxi's are within walking distance and it is a short drive to the Liberty Science Center that's supposed to be a great Museum and it has an I-Max theatre.

Enjoyed the pics. What a ship! Would love to visit it sometime. The pictures certainly don't do it justice we're sure.
