Couldn't take it any longer!
70 degrees last night, so I uncovered the ole portable firepit and lit a fire in it on the deck! Popped open a few brewskies and set back and PRETENDED! I didn't have any weiners, but I just closed my eyes and could smell them burning anyhow. I have got to get out of here!

Agree Last Wednesday morning minus 8. This morning was 62. Haven't checked in an hour as to what it has gone up to now. But the smell of spring is in the air.
Carol
Just noticed my temp. thingy is wrong.

The campgrounds in our area start opening in March this year.
The only problem with that is nothing will be green and it'll be all muddy...I'm trying to hold off too, but it's tough - I wanna see how the mods work out.

Good ole Iowa. 2 weeks ago we were in the beginning stages of the first 3 day blizzard we have seen since I was a kid. Got at least 16 inches of snow on top of the 8-10 we had the week before. This week 72 degrees and almost all the snow is gone except the big piles in the parking lots. Our favorite first camp of every year is under water from all the flooding now. But it won't be long and we will be roasting marshmallows over the open fire.

Good Ole FLORIDA,
Bright Sunshine, 70/80 degree days. No Rain No Snow NO Blizzards and [b]NO FREEZING TEMPS. Doesn't get any better than that.
Sorry guys and gals but I just couldn't resist.

Expecting a cold front tonight with highs tomorrow of only 70 degrees. Moving the trailer tomorrow to a campground for the next two weeks while working on a habitat build. Two weeks later will be heading to Victoria Texas for a Good Sam Rally. Nothing like Texas for year round camping. LOL
