Insurance for Non-Fulltimers?

Question for you? Do you carry insurance on your Montana if you do not fulltime?

I carry "all perils, replacement value" insurance plus liability (in addition to normal coverage and liability on my TV).

My RV insurance is part of my home owners insurance..some homeowners policies do it that way and if so CAN be less expensive...check with your agent...

Our RV insurance is through our auto policy. That gives us four "cars" on the policy so we get quite a multiple car discount. We had heard that you could cancel the "traveling" part of your RV insurance durning the months tha the RV was stored. The cancellation/orgination fees made up for the savings so we just keep full coverage all year around. I guess that way if we want we can shovel the snow and away we could go! HA HA

Ours is also on our auto policy. We were parked when our awning broke on previous 5er and insurance covered enough to upgrade.
Happy trails...................

We carry the same coverage of our unit as we do on our vehicles. Contents, other than original equipment, are covered under our home insurance. Some insurance companies cover the collision under the tow vehicle. Our collision is also on the unit. Cost is more, but better sure than sorry.

Like the others have answered, ours is also covered by our auto policy and homeowners policy for the contents.
