A few things to check. There are fuses on the outside in the refer compartment. There are 4 of them. But the problem sounds the same as mine was which is the burner tube needs cleaning. Spiders like to get in there and it makes the refer stop. Had mine cleaner works good as new.

If your battery is low, it'll not light, either.

Had that problem on a SOB. It would light manually with a striker but would go out at the 45 second mark and the check light would come on. I took it in to be serviced and the result was that, in my case, the thermo-coupling was out of adjustment.

This may help. We had a bad circuit board. This was a better board than the OEM and less expensive if it turns out to be the board.

Like GregN said above, "spiders love to crawl into the gas feed tube and build a nest". Sometimes you can blow them out and other times they have to be taken apart. I put the compressor to these places and blow them out. They will do the same to outdoor grills. I have never heard of any way to stop them as they are so tiny. LOL Have A Good Day
