wine refrig

We are about to do some serious traveling this coming year. We would like to take some good wines with us. Has anyone adapted or located a 12 volt or propane wine refrigerator that holds about 24 bottles? And if so where did you locate the frig in the rig?

Thanks, kip and bob

We leave it in the case until wanted then it goes into the OEM frig. You might find a really small apartment size one that would fit in the basement, if you have one of the drop frame [new] rigs. Or an electric ice chest?

I haven't done the calculations, but could you get one of the small 110v wine fridge and adapt it with an inverter? Then, when you get ready to move, plug it into the 12v/110v inverter in the basement and plug the 12v into the tv outlet. Just a thought. We use an ice maker so we don't have room for a wine cooler. Have fun on your trip.
