Where is the water pump on the Big Sky?

Last friday I spent 2hours waiting the the tech to find the water pump and replace it. He couldn't. Said he would have to take out the water heater...I don't think so.

Where is the water pump located on an 09 Big Sky?

Thanks,

Ron

I think that I would find a new place to do your work if I were you!

Don't know if they are in the same place on the Big Sky's as it is in my Montana, but mine is behind the basement wall, just inboard and aft of the convenience center.

Hope they didn't charge you for two hours of not accomplishing a thing.

First off which model and year Big Sky do you have? The 340RLQ water pump is located behind the service bay and nowhere near the water heater. There is a flexible panel to the left of the service bay and it has about 6 screws, take them out and behind this panel you will find the pump. It may be buried under the hoses but it is there...Dave P.S. I have just looked at the floor plans for all three of the 09 Big Skys and it would appear that they are all in the same place..

Thanks to all. No, the tech did not charge me because he couldn't find the unit. I'll take the panal out tomorrow to see what's there.

I'll keep you posted on what I find.

Thanks again,
Ron
